personal development growthAt one time I was searching high and low for something to replace my consulting income when the housing market crashed a few years ago, and ran into a number of MLM programs that I could have conceivably joined. One of the hallmarks of joining MLM groups is their emphasis on personal development growth as a way to unleash personal potential. Some of the veterans in these MLM programs had invested quite a bit of time and money in personal development growth activities to relearn old tapes about their attitudes toward money and achievement.

Most of us do not emerge from childhood and our teenage years unscathed, without some degree of negativity about what we can and cannot do, so these groups put a fair amount of energy into self examination to unlearn personal attitudes we may carry unconsciously about our abilities to attract wealth, whether it is spiritual or material. I may have gotten nothing else from my MLM ventures, but I did learn more about personal development growth and how important it is to put the right energy out there to get what you want, not necessarily just need.
