Detect, discover, and take direction from your uniqueness

No two people are alike. Know yourself. What makes you unique? Are you a mother? No one else can fill that role for your family the way you can. A founder? No one else will see the roots of the business as you do.

" How in the world do you do such a great job running what's become a huge and successful company?" I ask one corporate chief.

He thought for a moment. "I've learned how to set prioritize for my time and energy," he answered. "I never do anything if I can find someone else who can do it as well as or better than I can. That leaves me with nothing to do except what I and only I can do."

That advice helped me to set my priorities on how to use those unexpected free days on my calendar. I, and only I, can write my book. No other living human has within his head, heart, soul, experience, and memory system the consciousness that can exactly duplicate the person I am. Prioritize your tasks and goals so that you do what only you can and should do.
