The Key to Personal Development Growth is Balance |

I have a friend who can definitely tick many of the boxes when it comes to personal development growth. She has done very well for herself career wise, coming close to the top of her game despite the fact that she is not yet thirty. She is also financially independent, She has her own home, her clothes are fabulous and she goes on vacation several times a year. Furthermore her figure is great because she often plays sports. My friends is definitely a high achiever who strives to do her best, which is what personal business growth is meant to be about. Since my friend should feel happy having reached all those personal development growth goals, I wonder why she seems incredibly lonely when you scratch the surface. I think she is lonely because she has failed to understand that there is more to personal development growth than striving to be the best in terms of career and material success. My friend is a nice person, but she is also fiercely competitive. It seems to me that she has neglected some areas of her personal development growth in order to be able to excel at those that are more obvious to other people. She hasn’t yet figured out that the key to personal development growth is balance. To feel content we must also develop those areas that other people cannot immediately measure. I hope that in time my friend will figure this out.
