I am very outspoken when it comes to almost any subject, but put me into a room full of strangers to make a announcement, or speak publicly--NO WAY---NO HOW!

Your pushing my Panic Button and Fear sets in. Why?  I don't really know why. Red-faced, sweaty palms, stuttering, forgetting what you wanted to talk about, sounds familiar?

To overcome that fear, personal-development-growth, self improvement tapes, personal growth, empowerment, encouragement, goal setting, etc.

Well, many Books have been written, Tapes, CD's, DVD,s have been recorded on the subject, so there should not be a reason for that dilemma.

For most people, public speaking is an unknown quantity, and consequently one fraught with anxiety and fear factor.

So much Information is written about the subject, and most people I know personally, will never even think about speaking in public. When you pick up a book on public speaking, very soon you'll find out  that public speakers with all their training and professionalism have stage fright approaching the podium, and that is a good thing.

Speakers who say they are cool as cucumbers at all times are usually as thick-skinned as a cucumber and not very inspirational.

Are you motivated enough to change your Fear into Joy?

If you really want to become more comfortable before the "masses" practice, practice, practice!

I have read that public speaking  can be made a joy instead of an agony merely by getting a record of successful speaking experiences behind you. I'll personally have to work on that, hoping that you will do as well.
