So, what is Leadership?

Leadership is a skill, and like any skill, it can be learned. Too many people say, "He or She is a born Winner".I believe we are all Born To Win; most of us just don't harness that part of us because we spend too much time fitting into society rather than standing out and taking the risk to be OUTSTANDING. Leadership carries with it a huge responsibility. Many people will always look to find fault and tear you down at first opportunity - it comes with the territory. Just remember that Leaders are ordinary people doing extraordinary things because they love what they do. They will shine as a result of their passion being expressed.

For me it's about following my heart. Leaders in themselves and their cause. It's a DECISION , A PASSION DRIVEN COMMITMENT; A way of life. This way it's not hard work... it remains consistent over time. It's not a whim or spur of the moment feeling  -  that kind of leadership wears thin very quickly and disappears as fast as it came.

My absolute passion for making a lasting difference in others and living life fully have created my current state of success. I stand by values, build my beliefs, and follow my inner wisdom. I am always raising my levels of awareness, catching myself from time to time when my negative self tries to talk me out of something I know is the right thing to do.

This is why the training in Success University is so important. Training and feeding the mind with the right materials will create the inner strength needed to follow your own lead rather than others. It's important to get to your back office at least 3 times a week, attend as many meetings as possible, and surround yourself with leaders; doing so will accelerate your learning.

I once heard "Leaders are Readers". I have read over 300 personal development books, listened to hundred' s of CD's and watched countless DVD's, and attended hundreds of seminars around the world.

I believe we are the product of our thinking, our decisions, and our actions. All of these can be changed in a heartbeat. Therefore all results can be changed the second we choose to change them. Our ability to choose our path is our greatest gift.

Once you develop leadership qualities in any area of your life, you can pass on this knowledge and experience to others and enter the world of transformation, creating leaders around you.

What drives me is receiving emails and testimonials from people who have totally changed the course of their life as a result of something they heard me say at a seminar or on a call, or even one on one. I love knowing that I made a positive difference in someone - knowing their life will never be the same again because I inspired them to take it up a level. I would not be able to do this if I was not committed to constant growth myself.

I see leaders as thinkers; they respond to life rather than the masses, ultimately achieving different results and experiences in life. They challenge themselves constantly, pushing their own boundaries. They are consistent, focused, persistent and love helping others.

Leadership occurs at different levels in peoples lives. Leaders are people of influence. some lead themselves in pursuit of their goals. Some lead their families, friends, work colleagues, hobbies etc, while others lead large groups of people or organizations like charities, companies, and countries.

What I have found is that when we love what we do, we lead naturally; it's frictionless, in harmony with who we are. Leaders are not attached to any outcome, just committed. They have compassion, love and a deep understanding of service to others.

I lean on my life experiences for guidance when leading others. This is a responsibility for me, and if others are to place their trust in my leadership, guidance and support, then I see it as my duty to be on top of my game. I have an ability to connect with people deeply, inspiring them from inside to take action on improving their life by taking responsibility.

No man or woman is an island; great leaders have great leaders around them.
