You will find that if you show others that you are a confident and successful person, you will be able to develop a better sales number. You will want to take in consideration the fact that when you allow others to see your confidence; they will believe that you are a confident and successful person.
The car that you drive is very important. You will find that there are some people who try to show others that they are successful by wearing good clothing and acting like they have it, but then they leave the sales room and drive a beat up, ten year old Ford pickup. You don't have to act like you are something that you are not. However, you do have to think about how your car reflects on you.
First, you don't have to feel like you need to go out and purchase the most expensive luxury car. However, you do need to purchase a car that is all one car and doesn't backfire. You will want to have a presentable car when making sales trips. You don't have to think about getting a specific car, because no one cares, however, you do need it to look like you take pride in the things that you do and the purchases that you make. You will want to make sure that the car not only works good, but isn't an eyesore.
Secondly, you will want to take good care of your car or truck. This means that you will want to get something that is easily up kept. This means that you will want to get a car that doesn't show so much dirt. You don't want to think about going to anything pertaining to work with a dirty white car. Even if you do have a car that shows the dirt, you will want to make sure that you clean it every now and then. You will want to do this so that they believe that you have things handled. You have to show them that you are on top of things. This will count when you take the time to make yourself look better. It is very important that you car is presentable and clean when going to make a sales visit because a dirty, uncaring car can cost you a lot of money in sales.
Thirdly you will want to make sure that you car doesn't bring too much attention in a positive or good way. You don't want to see like you are lazy and you don't want to seem too vain and you car will tell a lot more than just what you drive. Your car will end up defining you. This means you don't have to get a special paint job. You will just want to make sure that you try to give yourself a good presentation for all of those who you go to visit on your sales trip.
You have to think about everything in terns that reflect on you. You need to make sure that you take the time to care about what others perceive you. If you show up without any style or with a bad looking car to any sales job, you will end up not making a good impression. You need to make sure that your car is detailed and cleaned once a week so that you can make a good impression on everyone who you go and make a sales pitch.
You will want to think about all the things that make an executive and then ask yourself how the same things will make an impression of you. This doesn't mean you have to go and purchase a new car, but you may want to put some time and money into the car to make it look a little better, however, with a good cleaning, any car can look better.
